Google Ad Sense-Does it pay per click, per view, or both?

The site was unclear as to whether they pay by per click, view, or both.

Also…has anyone actually gotten paid?
Don’t whine to me about your account being disabled…it’s foridden to click on your own ads at all…I just want information.

    You earn from Adsense through various ways:

    1. Pay per click – this is the common way to earn which is you earn every time a visitor clicks on your ads https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=17470&topic=8434

    2. Pay per impression – an advertiser can specifically target your site and show ads where you earn via cost per 1,000 impression (e.g. you earn every time someone sees your ad, even though they don’t click on it) https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=17470&topic=8434

    3. Referral – you can also earn if you refer a visitor to use Adsense or Adwords, download the Google toolbar, plus referrals to various products such as Constant Contact email marketing https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/topic.py?topic=1449

    4. Adsense for Mobile – if you have a mobile website you can now use Adsense to earn from it https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/topic.py?topic=11951

    HAS ANYONE ACTUALLY GOTTEN PAID? I’ve been paid since the first month I joined Adsense way back in June 2003. As long as you make $100 per month, you will get paid.

    There was only one instance when Adsense payment was delayed and that was Nov 2003, though payments arrived around Dec 9. Since then, no delays whatsoever.

    Hi yes Google pay per click, per impression & for referalls & various other conversions. You can also dispaly ads now using YouTube technology..
