Hey there,
I want to be a journalist when I grow up, and I thought that a great start would be to join my schools newspaper. So this year, my sophomore year, I joined it. I didn’t join it Freshman year because I was too hesitant, as well as too busy. Anyways, I’m a member of the newspaper, but I still haven’t written any articles. I’m pretty sure there are no limits to what we can write, except for being “school appropriate”. Either way, I’m having a lot of trouble finding a topic to write about. Do any of you professionals…

so, i know that this should be posted in the homework help section, but since i’m talking about TWILIGHT here, there would really be no point. i’m writing an article about twilight for my english class…it has to be at least 2 pages and i need a lot of information about the whole book series. i am writing about the books themselves, and stephenie meyer. what else should i include that would help make the magazine article more informational and interesting and that would also fit at least 2 pages of writing?

I am currently working in customer service at a manufacturing company as a temporary employee. The HR Generalist asked me to write an article for the company’s new, quarterly newsletter. They loved the article and will be printing it in their newsletter. Should I get compensated for my article since I am not an employee? If so, how should I determine the monetary amount?

for my writing workshop class, my teacher has asked me to write about an article and take a side in a issue. I am having trouble finding an article that would give me lots to write about without as much research. Any suggestions? :)
